  • Spontaneus Human Combustion is the title of this song just in case anyone wanted to hear the studio version.

  • @mario1136 SHC, Well, what bums me out is that I had some extended recordings of this evening, and the ones heard here were archived from that source tape to the blank space on the Disturbed Demo tape, so I could have continues music on the cassette, I lent the tape to Earl perhaps, and he subsequently lost it in his mess-o-shit

  • When I railed about the named bands online I got back some response like, Oh, how are they supposed to know of this other band, well, pointed out the band Disturbed formed in Minnesota, not that DAMN FAR from Chicago. Those guys are obviously "green" if they don't know their metal history and they don't.

  • Okay, I am just going to say it. Whomever likes the new Disturbed is a flat as cum sucking faggot fuck. The original Disturbed (started by this man here a decade earlier) was a far heavier and far better band than those douche bag faggot fucks from Chicago. Metal is about kicking our ass, not being a sell out sperm sucker. The band even had the nerve to try and sue him, after they in fact had taken HIS band name. Queers!!!

  • @kannedHate In honor of Earl Root, We will be celebrating his life as the anniversary of his passing roles around, he was as cool as Ronnie James Dio, and both men will be sorely missed from this Planet

  • @kannedHate At least the new Disturbed you can understand them. BTW these guys maybe metal but sound too fucking raw

  • @MetallicBill Damn it. That sucks man

  • Disturbed in the 1980s was Earl's midwest version, that's why I'm preaching their legacy ,BTW

  • I mean, I took things for granted like a lot of people, but one case in point for the breakdown was Warrant's Cherry Pie. To this day, it's been a needle in the side of Jani Lane, who wanted Uncle Tom's Cabin to be the known hit single, from that same album, it's just summing up where things went wrong, he wish he never wrote Cherry Pie. It wiped all the serious musical leanings off the map because it was so silly and pandering to the girl in the video motif. Bon Jovi just watered down I think.

  • I don't care about what was mainstream or not. My favorite era of metal is the 80s, and not because of Bon Jovi, Ratt, Poison, Motley Crue, and all the other MTV sellout whores.

NWOBHM, and other underground acts are more of my thing, really.

Those bands truly were/are HEAVY as they played their music, and their heaviness can never be outmatched by the modern jokes we have running around in tight girl jeans in the mall stores.
