Service with a S.M.I.L.E.---How do you S.M.I.L.E.?

When we talk about service....we often think about retail or the service industry.
However, the meaning of service can encompass so much more.
What about service to:
-Yourself?
-Your Family?
-Your Friends?

Giving service to all of the above mentioned can be very fulfilling and rewarding. It may not always bring in the pay cheques nor the recognition you have been begging to seek.
Even better!
Giving service with everything you've got to whomever is receiving it will mean the world to them.
So what qualities of service do you look for in a person?

(S)atisfaction: is so important because it will give you a sense of joy and accomplishment

(M)anners: are key in any interaction because this will give recognition to the other person and also makes them feel respected

(I)mportant: always try to make the other person feel that they are the most important person in the world

(L)isten: you will get more and give more when you take the time to listen to what the other person has to say

(E)xtra: it never hurts to always go the extra mile and do something extraordinary, fun, different and creative for the other person
