Newer VX8300 phones can do this. So can the old ones, but not by default. I'm sure this is one of many tutorials for getting mp3 playback on your LG. The phone CAN play WMAs out of the box, and managing those files is more intuitive than MP3s, this is just to prove that it can be done. And so you don't have to convert every mp3 you own to wma.

  • when you take pix on the phone can you save it to the SD card? o

  • Of course, you can save pics, videos, and sounds to the card, just go to the phone's memory settings and choose to save to the card, instead of to internal phone memory.

  • I have this cell phone...but...do you know what's format is compatible? .flv,3gp or what?

I want videos on my cell phone. I have 1gb memory.

Awaiting for you repply. Best Regards!

  • Its a special kind of .3gp, just google for a video converter (preferably free, haha) and convert your movies into 3GP format, and put them in your /my_flix folder on your card. Also try googling "VX 8300" cuz there's a blog that has all kinds of tricks like this. :)
