When ace talks or laughs, I can't help picture him in the makeup and costume. He was my favorite in the band.

i saw tommy play ace in a tribute band in 92 called " cold gin " . i just figured it out that was him !!! i remember it like yesterday!! thats funny!!! his hair was curly. i thought he should have worn a wig. i was looking through the book kisstory and they have pictures of kiss cover bands and there he was!! crazy!!

I finally caught KISS last July and while Tommy Thayer is a good guitarist and mimicked Ace well, he is not Ace Frehely. Man, the dude had no stage presence he just stood there, like a potted plant. Of course, knowing Gene that's what he told him to do. ("Look Tommy you are a contract player, not a member, you stand here, like a potted plant.") A-hole
