I've really been scrounging around for kickass dark, hard DnB, and I'm a big dubstep fan too (pretty selective about the shit I like, none of that chill-step) and it's great to hear about somebody doin shit like that. I used to think drum and bass producers could make the darkest dubstep, until Nero started producing the shit he makes.
At least SPL proves that its possible. If the grim reaper had a theme song, this would be it.

I was corrected once at a party they said it was drumstep. I laughed only to be informed by my friend that drumstep did exist.
