This week we are very proud to present a real treat to the general archive Discobolo kidnapped.
A song from the thirties, which boasts over time, a large number of remakes and rework until the 70s made by the "Zodiac" .
Tell me under the stars of Menichino-Guantini, a pair of virtually unknown authors precisely because of this song knew very well known for decades (though probably only among the musicians, routine borderau compilers of the SIAE.
The song was released to radio by the singer Maria Luisa Dell'Amore of love that has thus recorded for the Parlophone label, even though the reality is the song had been recorded around 1936 by several interpreters and many orchestras.
Of the many versions in our database we have chosen for this showcase that completed in 1939 by Carlastella for the label because ODEON enhanced by a unique arrangement of large orchestra conducted by Enzo Ceragioli that occurs even at the end of the track in one of His acclaimed solo at piano.

The record matrix number 8692 engraved on doors with catalog GO 19971st and gives the other side have a song of great success, better known as Silent slow "Lower your radio" workhorse of EIAR Rabagliati and Norma Bruni.
In this version, still arranged by Enzo Ceragioli is entrusted to the unmistakable voice of Nino Amorevoli .....

Questa settimana siamo veramente fieri di presentarvi una vera chicca rapita al grande archivio del Discobolo.
Una canzone degli anni trenta ,che vanta nel tempo una vasta serie di remake e rielaborazioni sino a quella degli anni '70 realizzata dal"Segno dello Zodiaco" .
Parlami sotto le stelle di Menichino-Guantini,una coppia pressochè sconosciuta di autori che proprio grazie a questa canzone conobbero per vari decenni grande notorietà (anche se esclusivamente probabilmente tra gli orchestrali,abitudinari compilatori dei borderau della SIAE.
Il brano fu lanciato alla radio dalla cantante Maria Luisa Dell'amore che l'ha incise dunque per l'etichetta Parlophon,anche se per la verità il brano era già stato registrato intorno al 1936 da vari interpreti e molte orchestre.
Delle molte versioni presenti nel nostro archivio abbiamo scelto per questa nostra vetrina quella realizzata nel 1939 da Carlastella per l'etichetta ODEON perchè impreziosita da un eccezionale arrangiamento della grande orchestra diretta dal Maestro Enzo Ceragioli che si produce pure verso la fine del brano in uno dei suoi tanto acclamati assoli al pianoforte.
Qualcosa di veramente unico che abbiamo il grande piacere di regalarvi per aprire in bellezza il 2010.
Il disco inciso su matrice numero 8692 usci con catalogo GO 19971 e regala sull'altro lato ancora una canzone di grandissimo successo: Silenzioso slow meglio conosciuta come "Abbassa la tua radio" cavallo di battaglia all'EIAR di Rabagliati e Norma Bruni.
In questa versione,ancora arrangiata da Enzo Ceragioli è affidata alla voce inconfondibile di Nino Amorevoli.....
Ma questo prezioso 78 giri lo faremo girare...la prossima settimana...sempre che abbiate la bontà e la pazienza di continuare a seguirci......
