@soulchild180 I also thought it was notable that the apathetic girl from 0:36 is shown leaving the church quickly/angrily at 2:05 - before most people get infected and way before the others try and leave.
Going back the partisanship analogy, is it me, or are all the supporters on one side and all the angry folk on the other?

@soulchild180 Thats interesting...
I thought it could be hysteria - maybe an attack on the media. The infection symbolises that one person is enough to cheapen the whole debate. The guy who was infected first was the one who was the most angry about it, after all, and before he infected everyone most people were very calm. Maybe this represents the media picking up stories and arguments and turning them into a culture war?

On the contrary, I think its perfect. Both the song and video are emotional at the same moments. That's what makes a video. It's not the theme, but the feeling. Absence of genre makes the art grow fonder.

The lady at 0:46 is absolutely beautiful. Just saying.

i have to be honest here... i don't think the video is very good, and it doesn't suit the song (in my opinion) but still this is a fantastic song!

ugh, such an inspirational video! I think it's about the crash of democracy, or a fight against unjust use of religion as an excuse for violence. The hand might symbolise the spread of the 'disease' that is corruption/democracy in religion. That would also be why the men started freaking out in the church, because they don't like being pulled out of their safe little delusions.
This comment in no way discriminates any kind of religion, only the total misuse of it to promote violence. <3
