@InuYashaCarnage , I can't say that any site is safe at any given time. You should use a Site advisor plugin (free) like the WOT (web of trust plugin) to make an informed decision about any website

downloading and installing is no problem

but how to disable those which r not required

in my case only 'Video to Gif Converter'

asked me to get the k-lite codec as it

was not importing AVI file When i was using Windows Movie Maker i imported

audio file to it i saw two icon of 'ffdshow' in my System Tray taking huge Ram

I DiSaBlEd 'ffdshow audio decoder' from System Tray?

then too video to gif converter is importing

AVI file no problem.

there are different versions of klite according to your needs. Try to install K-Lite's smallest version, and see if that suits to your needs
