Really,my wish is..Rapunzel from Disney's Tangled to have twins (boy and girl look alike xD)

I don't understand why the doctor beats the nurse. Did he anticipate her dropping the baby and start swinging in advance to punish her for the upcoming transgression?

The doctor tried to hit the baby but he dodged by making a mess with the nurse, which was on the way. After that, the doctor couldn't stop the movement and she was hit in place.
