The way forward is technology.Feeding people today wont help poverty tomorrow.Its things like these - space,defence,research etc that take a country forward, bring in more investments and jobs and improve standards of living.

@lalabaga232 It doesn't work that way. Development has to take place on all level - including helping the poor AND investing on space programs SIMULTANEOUSLY. One is short term investment and the other is long term investment.
