I sat down with the ever-insightful sustainability leader, Graham Hill at a local eatery in the LES in New York to discuss sustainable fashion.
A guy who keenly tapped into the growing necessity for green resources, Graham started TreeHugger.com, which now has about 4 Million viewers and is considered a top site for green news and products. Hear what Graham had to say about green fashion here.
why not opt for personal style, clothing that suits lifestyle and makes a person feel good? The mass consumer model is a bore that actually hinders super creativity because it is like mixed fruit jam- sweet "what" nothing. The business under the talent is always hungry, sucks creatives dry, tosses them and moves on. That industrial model is like a cancer, Adapts to grow, to devour more resources and eventually will kill its own source of energy. Re-do in order. Start with buy local.

It is already becoming a trend. And that is good and important. We need to get away from the anorexic methamphetamine and heroine trend of the last decade and move on to a healthy trend for the whole planet, the animals and us.
