Does anyone know where i can find a video of the old styles of yang from Yang Lu Chan? The first Yang Style Master. I learnt the standing form (where you never leave your original spot more than about a foot in any direction) but my teacher moved to Australia about 5 years ago and i have forgotten some of it. Also looking for the long form from Yang Chien Hou (one of the two 2nd gen masters) - it's quite distinctive in that the initial raising of the hands includes a small strike.

@VladtheEmailer Well it aint a secret No'Mo!!..Actually I've heard about the "Secret Yang form myself. Some guy at a TaiChi/Chi Gong workshop mentioned he knew it. I wasnt particularly impressed ..I'm sure its nice to know and all but whateva.

@perfectshot77 It kinda gives credit to the legend that says the Yang family taught a less efective Tai Chi to the imperial family.

I studied with Wang Yen Nian for several years and learned and the whole form. no this is not the form Wang Yen Nian taught and it is not Yang Jia Michuan Taiji Quan.

Interesting video, I was curious as to what lineage of teachers this style comes from. Never heard of a "secret" Yang style? Maybe that's why it's secret. ;-)

This Style is also called Michuan which was only pass down to a selective group of students. This Style of Secret Yang was through the lineage of Yang Sha Hou.
