IS 350 vs Chrysler 300 SRT-8

That IS350 CAN NOT be stock.

Ive never seen a stock IS350 dip into the low 13s. That's IS-F territory.

@4MATICbenz IS-F's are solid mid 12 second cars stock and IS350's are solid mid 13 seconds stock.

@caymandiver75 Incorrect: Stock the four top auto mags have the IS350 doing 0-60 between 5.2 to 5.5 sec and the 1/4 mi between 13.9 and 14.2 sec and a speed in the 1/4 of between 98-103 mph... Most road tests put the IS350 down the 1/4 in 14.1 sec.. The IS-F typical average 0-60 is 4.6-4.7 sec and 1/4mi of between 12.8 to 13.2 sec at 108-111 mph. Do your home work and research next time... I've also driven both these lexus down a track with a nice low density altitude and ran same as above.

@08turboSS What do I know...you must be right if that's what the magazines tell you! I only owned both the IS350 and IS-F for over 2.5 years each and have run them down the track over a 100 times each. You are obviously the one ill informed. You might want to do your homework and stop following the mags. I know personally what this car is capable of with a good driver behind the wheel and I stand behind my post.

@08turboSS Your numbers are pretty modest. The fastest time for a stock IS350 driven by Car and Driver is 4.7 sec. 0-60 and 13.5 in the !/4 . We ran my friends completely stock 350 at 13.7 all day long at an elevation of about 800 . Btw .. the IS-F's times by the same mag are 4.2 to 4.4 sec 0-60 and yes, about 12.8 at 111 to 114

My 5.7 300 with an ebay intake will stay right at the back bumper of my buddies is350 everytime. This IS isn't stock,OR the srt is launching in drive and not in 1st or something idk.

EXACTLY. The SRT8 weighs as much as an SUV! LOL! Plus, most people can easily search the web and find bolt-on SRT8's running 12's with no problem...

I see IS350's run between 13.6-14.2 at the track here, the ones with bolt-ons all seem to run between 13.2 and 13.5's in the fall when the cool dense air is feeding them a little better. I did see an IS350 with slicks and bolt-ons run a 12.9 one occasion. Not to bad for a full interior too!

@08turboSS i've owned an IS350 and got 4.6 0-60 and 12.8 1/4 mile. Not everyone knows how to push a car. With the F i'm able to put down 4.2 0-60 and 12.1 at 1/4. I think it's time to stop reading and start driving.
