They're both in the top 20 in the public university rankings, so don't cry that you can't get players because of your academics. Georgia's a much harder school to get in to. I do give you props for at least attempting to defend your team, as you've only beaten us once in the past decade.

@JackInBlackDawg Georgia is better than Tech? What are you in the 2nd grade? Keep living in that fantasy world brother. UGA is no where near in the same league. And yes I will keep bringing up the academic standards because, believe or not, it makes a difference. Tech can't get the 4-5 star recruits every year like Georgia because of their academics and lack of liberal arts studies. In Georgia, you can major in nail trimming, just as long as you can play football. Dream Team? FAIL!

"Well, we have 2 more national championships, therefore, we're better than you, regardless of the fact we've only beaten you once in the past decade." Georgia is better than Tech, get over it.

I mean you can cry and bitch all you want, but the point is we're better than you, this is not an academic argument, its a football argument, so stop bringing up standards because yeah Tech is more prestigious than UGA, but Georgia is still a damn fine place to get an education. And yes, I will keep bringing up the series record because when you're comparing two teams, the best way to decide who is best is to look at the head to head match ups
