@MrAanenson. Just my silly way of making light of the poor uninformed souls out there that think just because they have a certain brand of machine that everything else is substandard. Everything has its strengths and weaknesses. Nothing is perfect. Just because they haven't got it stuck or broke something yet just means they haven't tried hard enough. Just give them time and someday one of the brands they think are below theirs in the food chain will be pulling them home.
I neither own nor do I know anyone who owns either one of these vehicles, and according to my unbiased review of the products through my own research and the help of zachs' mightier than God rhino claims, if I were to purchase one of these units the clear choice for me would be the Cub Cadet Volunteer. Sorry zach, try to push your rhinos on somebody else. lesson to be learned, just because you have it does not make it the best or only thing available.
Lastly we come to the trival stuff. zach claims better shocks, are they gold plated or made of titanium, doubtful ,no points. He claims he can go wayyyy more places, unless he can get NASA to take him to the moon this too is doubtful, again no points. He can go 42mph on a dirt road, why can he not go 42mph with it on a paved road or a wide open field or any other large smooth area, The cub has a top speed of 35mph which you could do anywhere you can get it up to 35mph, not just dirt roads.
Now zach claims the rhino can tow 1200 pounds, The volunteer it can tow 1400 pounds. If I am doing my math correctly this means the cub can tow 200 pounds more. 1 point cub. Also stated by zach is 400 pounds in the bed, the volunteer payload is 1400 pounds, so that being said even if I put my 200 pound body and a 200 pound friend in, we can still put 1000 pounds of Pabst Blue Ribbon in the bed and go about our bussiness. another point cub. now we have the cub at a 3 to 0 lead. Above
And then we come to 4 wheel drive. zach claims better 4 wheel drive. Ok lets break it down, if all 4 wheels drive on both units how would you accomplish better 4 wheel drive. does the rhino have some kind of secret aresenal hidden about it somewhere that engages a retractable 3rd axle for even more off road traction. We all know this is not the case so as far as his claim of better 4 wheel drive I deduct a point for an unjustified statement. this puts cub in the lead 1 to 0. continued above
Next we have the ground clearance, or as zach words it clarence which I believe had something to do with a supreme court judge a coca-cola and some pubic hair, but that is a completly different discussion. zach states 12 inches for his rhino cub states 11 inches, it appears that zach has won this round. The comparisom so far is 1 to 1. Again continued above.
Find my last comment hard to beleive, let's ask zachdmx721. He being all of 14 or 15 years old should be able to share his years of UTV experience with us. Lets evaluate his well researched comparison of this unit to his rhino. His is 700cc the cub 748cc plus the cub offers a diesel option, so in retrospect does this smaller 1 engine option make the rhino better ? I would have to say strike one against poor zachy. continued above.
I have a club car golf cart with a 9 hp engine that puts out 345 hp. It's 2 wheel drive and will smoke all 4 tires when you hammer the throttle. It doesn't have a dump box but I've hauled 6 tons in it. And the top speed is 214mph up a 64% grade with 16 1/2 people in it. Don't believe it just ask all these other people that do extraordinary things with their ordinary UTV's they will tell you. LOL
