This is a commercial etching tank for etching your own PCB's. Very nifty, it blows bubbles from the bottom and has an aquarium heating element to keep the water (etchant) warm.

Very noisy though, you better not be married ;)

  • I have one too, it's just green, and not that translucent, so lucky you! - But the missus makes me use it in the bathroom, but besides that, she's ok with me etching in the bathroom :-)

  • @zaprodk

Nice to have a tolerant wife ;o)

  • Hi there!,

Nice tank you have there and thanks for sharing this with 'us'. I have a question. Is that a small piece of tubing with holes in it at the bottom or does it use one of those 'bubblestones' that you find in a aquarium?

    Cheers and keep it up!

    Hans

  • The construction is a commercial tank from Welleman, it has tubing molded right in the plastic itself, it even have a channeled tubing - meaning you can connect several of them on the same airpump.

  • Hi Jo0ngle,

Just an array of tiny holes I guess?

    Cheers,

    Hans
