This is when kirk could play the blackened solo with out cutting it in pieces, and improvising it. And this is when lars still had cardio to play the whole day with his double bass without falling into a coma.......conclusion..Lars and Kirk have become LAZY during theyr fame process.

You can't pretend that Metallica or any other band kick ass the same way the did 20 years ago, man. They're humans after all, maybe they lost some power but they're still together and playing pretty good. We should be grateful for that. :)
