  • Carp is my fish of choice for catch and release , are the carp active during the winter months?

  • @matt234pm

The carp are active enough to catch during the winter months, And a great fight. Finesse tactics will suit much better.

  • that is a very nice fishing hole!

  • @FishingThePNW like washington! lol

  • @matt234pm carp are an invasive species. they drastically decrease the population of all other fish species in a body of water by invading beds and eating eggs. if anything, they are the one fish that should not be released. why do you think a lot of states allow bow hunting for carp?

  • might be spawning, there are places in the south where the crappie spawn twice a year.
