81mm Mortar (immediate suppression)

My brother was in the 10th Mountain Division and a 13F (forward observer). He sent me this video when he was still in training. In the video, he had just called in 81mm immediate suppression fire on a target (no ranging rounds--just fire away). The fire was amazingly accurate.

that was absolutely at range 33D at fort polk, la. i shot mortars there more times than i can count.

@PhilWigg Actually my bro says it was range 12 Peason Ridge, but yeah, Fort Polk.

@jamon51 no way. i was a live fire o/c on peason for a year. range 12 is a small arms range and not at peason. it is a m4 zero range on birdscreek if i remember right. peason ridge doesn't name their ranges by number like that.
