why does everyone associate a head scarf with islam?! The ancient egyptians wore them thousands of years before muslims and so have hundreds of cultures around the globe. Just because muslim women wear them doesn't mean everyone time a non-muslim wears one its a hijab! It is not insulting to anyone, if you are a muslim and you are insulted then you are closed minded - you don't own the headscarf- everyone has the freedom to wear whatever they wish it's called self expression & freedom.

@zainadlr I don't think it was necessarily intended to be a hijab. There are some dancers who wear cowls and hoods as part of their costumes and I think that is the case here (for example Rachel Brice sometimes has a long piece of fabric pinned to her hair and draped across the front of her neck).

@AstronautCity I agree. I don't think someone who would wear a headscarf for primarily religious reasons would also display her midsection, back, chest, and arms so freely.
