I don't care what anyone says, Larry Wilson is an inspiration to everyone. Isn't music supposed to be fun? All these I'm better, he's better douchebags just dumb down the mentality of all musicians. Larry is smiling,laughing and having a blast. That's the bass player I want to be.

I try to keep up with the comments and answer serious questions to the best of my ability, but there is always going to be that one person goggling every little point to try to prove me wrong or the others who say 6 string bass is for wannabe guitar players or whatever such nonsense. I just remain glad I'm not so ignorant and people like you prove that not everybody else is so ingnorant. Peace.

@ all the above..... I thought that this comment section was set up as critique of the artist on deck. Instead it has becomes this war of words between bloggers. Each artist is good at what they do on their prospective instruments; whether it's a 4, 5 , 0r 6 string bass. Lets all play these instruments to the level of our giftings and try really hard not to digress.

I have heard it said by MANY wise guitarist ..." There are Bass Players I.E. ME.... And there are MANY FRUSTRATED guitarist I.E. YOU...... You just show your frustration better than most.... Opinions are like assholes EVERYONE has one...Yours just stinks.....

@feralcat61 : Though I did not mention it in the nterview, if you check your musical instrument history, there was a time, ( 15th. or 16th. century) when the upright or doublebass had 6 strings. No, backtracker, you never said I was bad, you just callled me an idiot and said I can't play 4 strings. There is a difference between being critical and masking your jealousy behind insults. I stand by what I said: I'll smoke you on 4, 5 or 6 strings.

I ALWAYS wonder why anyone would take a beautiful instrument such as the 4 string bass and add 2 more strings... As far as the blues go they have been paying my bills for 30 years because you see that is ALL I DO... As far as the name calling at least you are right.... I AM AN ASSHOLE.... Learn to take criticism or get out of music because I do not know any producers who would work with anyone whose cap locks are on ALL the time.....Happy picking !!!..... PS..
