  • first bulb was not UVB

    not all reptiles need uvb if someone cant afford a uvb then they can get a different reptile.

  • sorry, but you shouldn't use UVB coil bulbs, because they make the tortoise drowzy/sluggish... But I mean, feel free to use them.

  • @CorbinDCreptiles That's true. I don't use one on my common musk and razorback babies. I offer a basking spot tho UVA makes the colors vibrant.

  • @CorbinDCreptiles The first bulb was a UVB. I can tell you the brand off the top of my head.

    It is a repti glo/ sun 10.0 desert bulb. This guy is very smart for having a inferred bulb at night since they can get sick if the temp goes under 70F at night.

  • @turtlekid11 musk turtles and snappers dont need UVB

    its proven that they are fine without it.
