  • excellent as always acashfan1,just one small point though...reason 19,his drink and drug addiction, waylon always said he never drank and didnt like people around him that did, sorry for nit picking on what is an excellent project

  • @ant67hony I know I know, I've studied Waylon and his history for many years. He did sometimes drink though, not fall asleep on the street drunk, but he drank, just not often and not a whole lot. Some people would sit here and argue with me about that if I didn't put "drug and drink addiction" though.

  • figure it out fuck head

  • @MrBad357 Who are you addressing? and what caused you to use such vulgar language?

  • Hey does anyone know what the name of the first song is?

  • It's "Black Rose" written by Billy Joe Shaver.

  • The number ONE reason that Waylon Jennings was and IS the man is that he was an immensely talented BADASS that simply didn't care about what radio was doing, he just wanted to do his own thing. They call Waylon a country singer, but I don't think that Waylon can be categorized... he is in a category all of his own... WAYLON JENNINGS - EVERYBODY ELSE. Miss ya Waylon. Hope you and Cash are getting along OK- if you don't mind we'd like to keep the rest of the highwaymen for just a while longer!!

  • #13 should be 99.9%

  • I had known Waylon since 1979. I never once saw him drink. He had problems with some drugs, and he may have used alcohol in the past, but in the 30-40 times I saw him between 1979 & 2001, I never even saw him drink a beer. Alcohol was not a problem for him. He loved kids. He said "kids are the only ones that will really tell you what they think."My whole family misses him so much. I thank God for the time I got to spend with him.

  • excellent job!! if anybody can help me find a list of all of his songs that he recorded i would greatly appreciate it! he has been my idol since i walked int my first honkey tonk at age 10 with my folks

  • PS,..I saw that someone mentioned a movie of his life.NOOO! How could anyone play Waylon. No one that I have ever seen looks that close to pull it off.Id hate it.

  • ant67hony-thats just bull shit.I know for a fact that he drank and a lot.met him when I was kid,in a bar, when I was with my Pa.We played Horse,a dice game,Waylon n I,..and he was a few sheets to the wind then.He thought it unfair for me to play with the dice alone,so he played to.

  • thank you for sharing this.....very well done and I really miss Ol' Waylon

  • I will always love him! <3 <3

  • Waylon Jennings has been and will be my favourite singer of all time. I am wondering will there ever be a movie made about this legend.

  • Great stuff, but yes, listened to his audio book yesterday and he did say he didn't drink and like people to drink around him, at least in the 70s. Did he drink before that maybe?
