While I don't listen to much Hip Hop (because I'm old), I've never understood why Hip Hop stars always have to answer for this or that, while other forms of music continue along their merry way, while being just as socially objectionable (if not more) than Hip Hop ever is. Anyone who thinks Nelly is a negative role model needs to go read "Hammer of the Gods" - or just go see this year's Alice Cooper tour.

What's with every "hip-hop" "artist" trying to give themselves the gayest or most infantile-sounding names? "Nelly?" Really? Fkng "Nelly." Okay, yeah you go with that, Nelly Olson. "Puff Daddy" wasn't quite gay/childish enough so he took it to another level with "P. Diddy." And "Lil'" before anything at all apparently doesn't make you sound like a children's cartoon character, but makes you street tough.
Well, since "hip hop" itself sounds like a preschooler's toy, I guess it makes sense.
