Fall 2011 NSO summary points

Set Up
- Tabling with soda floats w/ contact cards and quarter sheets
- Giant Water Pong on the Side
- Garbage cans spray painted red with water inside & White Ball

NSO etiquette
- This is a time to meet NEW students and talk about who InterVarsity is (Not Old student inreach that can be later)
- Our attitude during NSO reflects not only InterVarsity as a group but also the kind of impact it makes on the students. SO BE ENTHUSIASTIC!

- WE ARE NOT SOLEY A CHRISTIAN GROUP THAT MEETS ON FRIDAYS FOR LARGE GROUPS AND SMALL GROUPS!

- We are InterVarsity Christian Fellowship a student group on campus of both Christians and non Christians seeking to know God and His purposes through community ( short version) basically Transform Renew Change

- Lastly, Don't be too aggressive or forceful when asking for Contact Cards. These are important for us to get! But Love your fellow students, be polite, and kindly ask for them to keep in touch with us. We want to encourage them and not force them!

Final Things
- Get phone numbers with students you connect with and invite them to hang out with you between the time of NSO/UFEST until GIM on friday! that's almost 2 weeks!

- Pray. Pray. Pray. Pray.
First and foremost gather to pray with your community. Recharge and spend time with God as he shapes and molds you to reach out to your community and for Him to bring people to hear about InterVarsity. Also spend time just listening to God and for Him to move His spirit among our community.

He loves the community more than we could ever imagine and we need His strength, wisdom, and love.
