  • You played this quite well. I was wondering if the pedaling is your own addition or if it is written in. What edition of the piece do you have?

Have you tried playing it without any pedaling?! Give it a try! It will spice it up!

  • Thank you for your comment. I don't recall I used pedal for this piece.

  • I'm impressed. You have very agile fingers. More dynamic contrast would be cool. Nice job.

  • good job =]

in no 1 though, the middle and last section could've been a bit softer and slower

and more contrast would make it even better ^_^

    really awesome job though

i played this piece when i was 12 and i wasn't even as good as you lol

    keep up the good playing!

  • Hello, I am 10 years old turning 11 too! I am also a musician - I play the piano since I was 4 years old and 10 months. I am having a recital on June 30, I am playing all three movements of Kabalevsky, Sonatina I, Opus 13. No. 1. I hope it goes well, like yours did. For the first movement did you use pedaling in some areas like the beginning? ( I am wondering if I should do this? )

  • It is a wonderful performance.

It seems to have been very difficult though my daughter also had played this tune.

There is a transparent feeling in the sound in the middle part, and it is wonderful.

  • you have done a wonderful job playing! i am playing the 1st and 3rd movements of this sonatina also, but i just started, and you are much better than me! keep up the great work! :D
