what is today saudi arabia, was backwater/periphery before mohammed and islam and it soon became periphery again after the violent spread of islam. that should only change with the discovery of oil.
btw concerning "israel", the king had it right.

What islam are you talking about ? Is it ithe islam that gave isreael the hand ?
The shia were the only men who attaked isreal in the past 30 years ... what makes you think that shia are musrikeen ? is it that they are loving the Nephew of mohammed ? what makes for example saudi arabia better than iran ? they are the 2nd america. Think befor you talk. Otherwise you will not be able to get on a right path.
