i was a Captain on those ships for about 25 years, retired now, and gues what - I don't miss it at all

Have you ever been acrros the channel in a storm , I have it was manic, I mean this was a massive ship and we were dancing around in the corridors and when we hit a freak wave the whole passengers and crew jumped up about 3 feet, one one man mountain got burnt after hitting his heat on a light

The problem with these videos they just dont show how rough it really is, I have loads of videos going round the cape, in really bad weather, but when i watch them it just does not look like much, and all my mates just ask me what all the fuss is about lol

Better than that. If you knew what a piece of crap that boat is you would be scared in that weather. Pity he didn't film the propulsion motors blowing up.

Good video. Those parts when the ship is pointing down with the next wave just coming are impressive. Scary I´d say.
