  • why did spock have to beuid a neumonic memory circuit to make his tricorder work when he never needed to do so before?

  • He needed to hook it up to the ships computer to access the info, so he had to build something else instead.

  • "And since when do newspapers put obituarys on the front page?"

It was actually a news headline about her being killed, and newspapers do that type of thing all the time.

  • @jamesoblivion Nitpicking in Sci Fi is pointless. There is hardly an episode that would survive close scrutiny.

  • Art of the day for me too I was intrigued by Time Travel from this point on . It made me think even at age ( 5 ), my understanding was the Captain loved her sooo much but had to do nothing to save her BECAUSE BAD THINGS COULD HAPPEN ;) I remember talking with my Mom about that episode long long ago. Great episode !

  • one of the best show's

  • where's the long version

  • They should have left the original series alone. It was the art of the day. To me it's like colorizing "Casablanca".

  • @SpockBoy what a load of shit. :P

... and made worse by this official definition at memory-alpha's wiki regarding Mnemonic memory circuit.

It was a cool piece to the story, though.

  • @RichardEllisxyz "An Astronomical expert should have been on hand during the fabrication of 'planetary' scenes" Hey. It's called poetic licence. :-)

  • Majestic depiction of the desolate planet, wonderful work.

  • Okay, when Kirk looks up to the sky and the camera tilts to the starfield, how many wanted to say "You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone"

  • @Spartacus217 Pretty much everybody did. It was during the Great Depression.

  • Social workers in the 30's must've got paid shit.
