  • I'm about to get this surgery in 5 days because I have Uterine cancer, this was amazing to watch and it makes me feel better about getting it done. I can understand what's going to happen to me now. As for the person who said it looked healthy, I'm sure mine looks healthy on the outside too but it is diseased and if I don't get it removed I will die.

  • There's a new book, "The H Word", that tells you everything you want to know about hysterectomy, the alternatives, and the consequences.

  • Thank you for this video. I have been nervous over my up coming LAVH. This makes me feel better about making the choice not to live in pain and to finally get my life back after I heal!

  • A vaginal hysterectomy is faster, safer, causes no pain and leaves no scars.

Women go home after 48 hours and to work in a week.

If you have heavy bleeding, endometrial cancer, cervical cancer, endometriosis pain, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, hysterectomy is liberating!

Women even report better orgasms afterwards...

  • Wow. That was really cool to watch. Now I'll know what's going on if I want to get a hysto for my transition. (I'm FTM transgender)

  • I had this procedure done on Aug 19th - the next day, I was trolling my hospital floor for popcicles, eating fruit, had very little pain, no pain killers were necessary for me and I was released from the hospital. Since then I have had no pain...I walk everyday and will be back at work by Sept. 12th. Thank you Drs. Lam and Whitfield Growden and the Mass General Hospital Staff in Boston!
