i agree with your music taste and reckon the names u mentioned are all dope mc's,
however i think your being to harsh on the kids, i mean their 12 year olds in 2012, meaning they werent even born in 1999, their perception of dope albums are not albums like reasonable doubt, the big picture, capitol punishment, ready to die.
i grew up only knowing the surface of 80's rap and thought it was kinda corny compared to 90s so the kids are just the same a decade later.

@sunj5976 I honestly respect and agree with you views and approach to that. However, they still have to be taught lessons of how to pay homage. Now and days, they don't show respect for those who pave the way for them or artists back in the days who have done better. Fairly understood that they are new borns, but from 80's to 97ish we showed tremendous progress and it declined after that with Diddy on the rise with that bullshit music. So we have to make them aware what good music is.

I just want to say that kats like you gives me a reason and drives me to put the best of my ability and talent to every letter, word, sentence, paragraph, page, and notebook. Yo,Great video. Hands down was accurate and didn't waste no time getting the truth and schoolin' kats on Hip Hop vets and some Legends.

@john1987805 I appreciate that my G, I'm all for good lyricist and I have no hate in my blood, I will support any good rapper, just prove me your nice with your wordplay and that's all it takes for me to pay for your shit ya digg. I'm a lyricist and a songwriter by trade attending Full Sail University study music Production and going for my masters for music business. We gotta let them know who Yard is this. Peace brother.

Imma MC in training. I can't say rapper cause there's a big difference with those powerful words. Yo, I love Hip Hop and that's something that I'm willing to live my whole life around to. My dreams drives me to be the next MF Doom, KRS-1, Black Thought, Evidence, Phife Dog(A Tribe Called Quest), Elzhi, Eyedae( R.I.P.) and many more but Especially, Canibus Lyrically wise. And I'm not talkin' about biting styles but to have witty common sense and knowledge and to speak upon things to uplift people

@john1987805 No doubt, homie, that revolution had started the late or early 2000's with the Lyricist Lounge, the Def Jam poetry, and to shows like Yo MTV Raps and BET Rap City, now fuse have The Hip-Hop Shop, MTV2 has Sucker-free. But the point is that, we have always tried to show the difference in wack rappers to dope emceeing (MC-Master of Ceremonies) to the masses but the over heads that be, always want to shut that down. Peace.
