TODAY
Im saying good morning but its not that way
I should be blaming the weather today
or is it that noisy sledgehammer
of my freaky neighbour.
Its kind of early to talk right now
later on we can work it out
so why dont you understand
that Im off the hook and wanna be alone.
All I want is breakfast right now
to get this morning rolling on somehow
Im beginning to smile with this cake
Now I feel awake
and so I just dont care
although that somebody drives with out care
it was sunny but now its raining
and I wonder why Im complaining cause.
I am standing proudly today
there is nothing to complain of
and everything will roll on.

Suddenly I can feel the sunny rays
even though its cloudy today
take the mind off the noisy sledgehammer

I know that it becomes kind of tough
holding back and not blowing up
if theres a discussion
I try hard to hold on avoiding all distractions.
Its not a matter of wrong or right
theres no winner when theres a fight.
I can tell that Im feeling lighter
everything is brighter
and so I just dont care
although that somebody drives with out care.
