Jimi Hendrix Medley - Adam Lee Feat. The 'Rock Chick'

Hey guys,

For a change, I thought I'd do a Hendrix Medley. I'm dedicating this to one of my best friends on MySpace, Keith Farrish, who is a wonderful musician, who knew and played for the Hendrix family back in Jimi's day. He has been amazingly kind to me and, like me, he's a huge fan of all Jimi's work. A thousand thank-yous go out to him, and to all my wonderful friends on MySpace. It's a true privilege to communicate with such wonderful people.

As for the video, it's sort of a mish-mash of 'Voodoo Child', 'Purple Haze' and some improvisation. There's no singing, so I tried to play the vocal lines of 'Purple Haze', whilst doing the rhythm (I quickly figured that I'd need a second hand, for that!).

It's more of an informal thing, so forgive my playing in places. I strung this guitar with 0.11s, and my hands aren't quite used to it! Hope you enjoy it, and God bless you for watching.

@AdamLeeGuitarist P.S. just noticed on your vid to firework, do you have a kind of circular vibrato? Looks pretty cool! My vibrato is a bit sloppy but liking the controlled vibrato you're getting. Great tone as always! :)

@Arktik83 Wow, thank you os much, Neil! That's very kind of you! I found out about JM in early 2007 after watching him play at the Apple Keynote with Steve Jobs! Haha. I have Apple to thank on so many levels! And say hi to Charlie for me. Cockatiels are the most amazing, intelligent birds. Cheeky surprises me every day!
