  • Sonny & Cher's version of this song was the first one I heard. When I found out that it was originally by Albert Hammond, I came straight here. Having listened to Sonny & Cher's version 61 times (according to iTunes), I think it was a little too late for me. But, I think that Sonny & Cher did a great job covering this song. Their version is a little bit more sad and depressing, in my opinion.
