  • don't you think its kinda unfair to have type 1 diabetics which is only 5% of the diabetic population looked down on by friends, people and by the media due to the similar name associated with "type 2 diabetes". I really think they should change the name of "type 1 diabetes" to a completely different name, in order to help get more funding to this specific form of diabetes which does not even have a cure yet....

  • @RGlantz - Good point dude! In another YouTube video Halle no only claims to have cured her type 1 diabetes but actually say she "had type 1 & cured it so she now only has type 2" That like says she had terminal cancer & now she only has acne because she found a cure! Type 1 & type 2 are not even the same illness, the difference between the 2 are a huge as the difference between cancer & acne! & believe me i know a lot of American diabetics who hold such dumb views!

  • Diabetes is a disease of the metabolism. Does anyone know about cinnamon and the results with it and Ginger. There have been studies done. and it does result in lower blood sugars.

  • @allthosestars THATS OFFENSIVE TO DIABETICS EVERYWHERE NOT EVERY ONE CAN BE SO PERFECT!!!!!!!! I SHOULD KNOW IM A DIABETIC!!!!!!!!!

  • halle is diabetic. anyway thans

  • I believe it is unfair to look down on type one or type two diabetics...research shows it is a genetic disease that is correlated with obesity and not causually related. True...someone with type two diabetes can be in better control with diet and exercise...however, that doesn't mean they "brought it on themselves". They had the genetic make up to develop this disease, and they need medicine, food and exercise to help their insulin flow since their cells are more resistant.

  • @lauralamet there are many myths surrounding T2, and I agree with @gphx It is unfair for people who have diabetes to somehow imply that T2 bring it upon them selves. obesity is only 1 of the many risk factors for t2 and while there are genetic factors for both t1 and t2,its important to remember that There is a stronger inheritance pattern for type 2 diabetes. please explain to the trim people who are diagnosed with early onset T2 in their 20s that they brought it on themselves.
