Sweety and I in Marathon Florida out Kayaking by my folks place, had a visitor, she was about a 6ft Nurse shark with baby in tow....calm as can be,, while we held our breath. Amazing , beautiful and scary at the same time. Nothing like the Keys....we come back for even longer every single year, pretty soon we will be livin there, nice to be close to the folks. Enjoy..added a little background drama for fun, lets hope YOUTUBE allows this to be played...come on guys...please..its just so perfect! Keep in mind, the first time she came to see us, sweety was snorkling and those are the pics at the end of the video...close encounter indeed. Enjoy! Keep the keys safe and clean! Lets hope the oil spill stays clear away from our beautiful keys. I feel the pain everyone is feeling right now, just breaks my heart. Stay tunned!

  • Where was this at? What beach?

  • @ButterFlyKey422 That's not really a beach, its near my folks place, you have to kayak or boat out to it, it's in Marathon , actually Grassy Key, it's just an island that we always like to go out to , very quiet, no one around, nice....

  • i hope i see a shark im flying to florida march 6th

  • @RaScAlDuDe65 as long as you go out kayaking or snorkling or even walking out way out into the shallow waters either before high tide or during ....you will certainly see one...and it all depends where in florida you are going...in the keys..for sure..in the mainland, depends....good luck...!!♥

  • thats no nurse shark it a lemon shark if it were a nurse the dorsal fins would be more rounded, closer together and yellowish- milk chocolate brownish but lemons are still pritty dosile

  • @supramen93 she looks so similar to a nurse shark....I said to sweety...um....she looks a bit different??? Even her fins are different...she was still very very friendly and did not care too much about us...or my hubby under the water with her...until her baby came along and then the barracuda....then it was well...hmm...think its time to get back into the kayaks...lol...she was pretty cool...
