I wonder if Comfort realizes that by doing these types of appearances he is actually leading more people towards atheism and away from Christianity. Sure, there his devout followers who will listen to this and think that he got the best of Russ and Matt but the majority of people who are capable of critical thought will listen to this and realize how absurd Comfort sounds. This is why I'm actually thankful for people like Ray. They unknowingly help destroy belief in their own religion.

I have seen him led to evolution 3 times.

In Comfort v TF00t you can actually see his brain break when he realizes he has just admitted to accepting evolution. Then he back-peddles like a politician caught with his hand down a kids pants.

Here is perhaps the mother of verses ignored: “Judge not, that ye be not judged” (Matthew 7:1) and “Judge not, and ye shall not be judged, condemn not and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven” (Luke 6:37). I have yet to meet a Christian who has not judged my atheism. The whole world is chalk full of judges, juries, voters, employers, teachers, etc. which are all constantly judging others.

Christians are not supposed to take their disputes before non-Christian courts or judges. (“If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints?” -- 1 Corinthians 6:1 NIV) How interesting! Considering that state is separate from church all courts are supposedly “ungodly”. Does this stop Christians from tying up the supreme court with law suits concerning school prayer, abortion, or numerous other absurdities?

Jesus does say that you should follow the old law in the old testement from his words in the new testement. Truth is that, no claimed christian is a believer unless they follow and believe all, old and new testement. They just want an excuse to feel better and be righteous along with hiding their offenses making profits. Also gaining power. Comfort is unbelievably frustrating! The thing about common sense is that it is *common*! If we relied on common sense to discern the truth of the universe we would not have the theory of gravity, we would still live in a geocentric universe, we would not have the theory of relativity, etc. Whenever anyone tries to discredit science with "common sense" they can be immediately dismissed as an ignorant buffoon that doesn't have the first clue about science.
