I liked the East Village back in the 80's. The music was better. Wish I'd videotaped the way things had been.

The only time to go to McSorleys is around noon. You have the whole place to youself to explore the cool stuff. From 6pm on its a madhouse. I love their beer but the two glasses tradition is dumb. and it's not Thompson Square park, it's Tomkins.
