Hulk Hogan and The Junkyard Dog managed by The Haiti Kid take on Dory and Terry Funk managed by The Mouth of The South Jimmy Hart in the funniest match I have ever seen. The commentary by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan only adds to the hilarity. Recorded in 1986.
Terry Funk was great!

@stingerfann1981 Also, their tapings were marathon sessions of several hours in one day. Most of it being squash matches, so the crowds really weren't hot a lot of the time, hence the need for the crowd enhancement, though they certainly would have been hot for a big match like this. It's why the "canned roar" seems to be turned down on this one.

@stingerfann1981 Yes, they were hot, but believe me, they were using canned heat to increase it on TV at this time. Especially on Saturday Nights Main Event. they really perfected a lot of their production techniques on that show. You are hearing a real crowd, but it's "enhanced".

@mamacornettesmoney sounds very unlikely i went to several matches from the wwf as a kid in this era and the crowds were always hot

@JRiggz108999 That's "canned heat". There is real crowd reaction, but a lot of what you hear is mixed into the soundtrack. WWF was the first group to do that. They were doing it heavily at this time.
