The second suspenders way is kind of interesting and I guess a good way to switch it up if you wear suspenders a lot, but I prefer the classic way. Plus the new way looks like it might be uncomfortable on your arms . . .
I love your pencil skirt styling. It looks really good with the halter tops! Even if your workplace is anti-bare shoulders you could wear a bright halter under a blazer with the pencil skirt and look really chic.
