On the beginning of February 2010, Marko Sihvonen came and started a hunger strike in front of the Finnish parliament building.

He is protesting against the corrupt government who is selling our groundwaters away to offshore corporations, all of this behind our backs.




Long description:
That corruption has already spawned 80km of water pipeline. Several families have been thrown out from their lands by the government with the use of eminent domain.

Government says the air force needs new helicopter bases so people have to move. Bases are going to be near where the water pipelines route is, right where people used to live. This is called Finnish corruption when they grab land for private use using the defense forces. The corrupt government thinks that by using the patriotic name of the defense forces when they grab land, it will somehow make the people be quiet and accept it.



Well there's one man who would not stand quiet...he is Marko Sihvonen.

The Hunger Striker.

He says he will hunger strike until our corrupt government has been thrown out and replaced with a new clean one, and according to the polls, many of us think that way.

Come and join him! Marko Sihvonen is not for the left or the right. He is for liberty versus tyranny.

Tyranny is trying to tighten its clasp of the Finnish people. Well now the people have had enough!
