thatll bolster ratings..redraw of very first UY episode. so TwilightZ Lum can sit on the moonchair..gogo gadget Ataru boober. as mentioned UY is a hard series to rate..have to question what was going through Rumico-senseis mind. had a revelation that UY & all of Rumics is an outcome of an innocent girl who was utterly deranged by an all-girls highschool. also critical background is the Takahashi family ran an Obstetrics & Gynecology facility so were prolly tormented by the atrocities of life.

Actually if you count out the occasional nude scenes and some small references, this anime is very kid friendly compared tho the original manga: for example, in the manga there is a episode where Ataru, Lum, Sakura and Ten visit a porn cinema together and there is another episode where Ataru is dominated by a alien with drinking problems, turning him into a drunk that shows a lot of interest in Lum.

I don't get why the world blamed him.
It's not like he wanted to fight and knowing the loosers in his dimension I'd doubt there was ANYONE (well maybe Cherry because he's so freakish he defies logic) in that alternate world that could have taken Lum down.
If the Earth People couldn't fight for their freedom to the last man why should they blame Ataru that it was lost?
Where was Mendous private army because I remember his mom talked a lot of smack when Lums mom came to Earth?

This time they actually showed nipples. I can't recall if they did before but I know in Ranma 1/2 they would.

Are these shows really for kids because they seem to be lax when it comes to nudity and sexually charged lyrics? (at least in comparrison to Western Media standards).
