@SpermicidalManiac1 Let me guess, Doom 3 was your first? Focusing on "story" is a big part of the reason why modern shooters are so mundane. I just wanna fucking shoot things, ok? This is why I play Doom more than any other FPS, old or new. They just did things right back then, and no, nostalgia is not biasing my opinion. They just used to be better.

@SpermicidalManiac1 Have you even played the other DooM games? THAT'S ALL YOU FUCKING DO. YOU KILL MONSTERS. There is NO plot except what the endtext tells you, and in between 8 or so levels in Doom II, Evilution, and Plutonia Experiment. So forgive the 90's and this game for just wanting to have fun shooting monsters with nothing attached to it.

The game does not auto-aim, it's the accelerometer, you aim by tilting. Really nice, I think it's kinda fun.
