@junmun123 Wrong wrong wrong. It was 300 Spartans, 7,000 Greeks from other cities. At the final stand only 1,000 Thespians and the 300 Spartans remained. Not 10,000 Spartans.

@SlickSpencer8live it is loosely based on the battle of thermopylae. they say that leonidas was so feared that when he was killed in battle his spirit haunted the persian empire until its downfall. they put his head on a spear and used it as a trophy and it ultimately angered the gods and led to xerces' death
