Reading by Peter Michael. Images from the Library of Congress. Suffrage Wagon News Channel celebrates women's freedom to vote. We love news and stories of the suffrage movement. Build links between the past, present, and the future. The year 2013 is special because of the suffrage centennial celebration of the campaign wagon. Suffragist Edna Kearns drove in it for organizing purposes. Wilmer Kearns treasured the wagon and showed it off. He assisted with the publicity for the presentation ceremony when I.S. Remson presented it to the New York State Woman Suffrage Association in 1913. Hop a ride on the "Spirit of 1776."
