Some students might have to decide whether they want to work alone and build a home based business from the ground up or work out of the home in a massage therapy business that they hone from the ground up in their own building. Working as an independent contractor in somebody elses business has certain benefits too, and it will be difficult for some massage therapy students to decide on the right massage therapy career path, at least until they have completed a few hours of bodywork and figured out what massage methods best suit them.
