1 Solar cell powered Snake Egg Bedini

This is the one magnet Bedini ('snake egg') running on one small solar cell. The transistor in the Bedini circuit was changed to a small MPSA06 from a TIP3055. An oscilloscope is used to show the different wave form that this transistor produces. The MPSA06 transistor is the same one used in Dr. Stiffler's SEC. Comments on why this produces such a strange wave form are welcome.

is that bulb simbol supposed to be a neon?

If so, it's in the wrong place... it should not connect down to the pri battery neg but instead to the pri battery positive!

By having it this way whenever the neon lights its going to draw power from the primary battery...

cowwarrior69---That neon in the diagram is a stanard Bedini circuit protection device that is put in there to protect the transistior from a high volyage spike if the charge battery is disconnected. That is the only time that it comes on.

but it doesn't diverge from the fact that in the diagram it's connected in the wrong place...

When the neon lights it'll connect back to the drive coil via the primary battery the wrong way thus discharge the pri battery...

cowwarrior69----Sorry. I didn't know that you were already familar with the Bedini SSG circuit. I went over to your channel and saw that you are already envolved with this. The circuit diagram in this video is not mine (it is Jonnydavro's) but it is how I have always connected the protection neon ( across the emmitter and collector).

Perhaps the wave form is showing two things going on at the same time. The main waveform due to the spinning egg and there is a spontaneous high frequency oscillation, i.e.; self resonance. The high frequency oscillation is too high in frequency to affect the operation of the spinning egg. I assume that you are looking at the transistor collector to ground.

Sorry to here about the likely demise of Pontiac. I almost can't believe I am saying it. 30 years ago the thought would be impossible.

The standard setup is to go across the transister...

I don't understand why they didn't just put it across the the output for the drive coil...

It seems stupid to have it that way coz it's discharging through the primary battery thus depleting it...

yes when you run a solar pannel... IT's voltage is not it's draw and it's cycling back on it's self and the magnet sending out waves from the coil it's self. Put a freequency tuner and a kml on the line. Also shielding might help a good bit :) Jsut some sujestions :)
