The Japanese open fire after allowing all the U.S. Marines & equipiment to fully come ashore as planned.. Pounding the Americans on the beach with machine gun fire, mortars, field guns, cherry blossoms, & assaults from half buried tanks.. The Americans respond with fighter bombers slamming Mt. Suribachi with 500lb bombs as the U.S. Marines surge forward.. American armor fires on the Empires' defensive positions, as Marine flamethrower troops clear out foxholes.. The battle comes to a head as overwhelming U.S. forces scale the volcanic summit overruning the Japanese defenses.. The "Rising Sun" in setting quickly in the face of the industrial military giant that is the United States.. The last of the glorious Emperor Hirohito's divine wind charge the Americans in a fanatical charge of self sacrifice crying out BONSAI!!! - The beginning of the end for the Pacific Empire of Japan..
