@konrad8806 no, if you dont have a physx cardt then physx is calculated on the CPU

Stupid question perhaps, but do I need nVidia card to be albe to use PhysX in 3ds Max?

it don't works with max design 2012, it is a mess. year by year they "develop" a new version which in most cases is worst then previous, but you have the chance to search for moved options weeks and months. My max 4 works very good. I have tried the 2012 and it is a huge mess.

@TheDallasDragon PhysX is the same as MassFX. There is a PhysX plugin for 3ds max 2012. You have to register with Nvidia (its free) and then you can download the plugin. It is available for 3ds max 2009 onwards. It is also available for Maya although why you would want to use such an inferior thing isn't clear to me. Physx is very basic at the moment and is still being developed. At the moment, dynamics in 3ds max 2012 is almost non-existant.
I am using camtasia for capturing. It is very simple and very effective. As far as your toolbar you should be able to right click on the one of your toolbars and then check the physx toolbar to make sure it is on. Maybe you already tried that. I have loaded max before and with the default settings all the menus are there, but when I load my own custom UI my ribbon menus and physx menus go away. I am not sure how to solve this problem.
