Have you ever wanted to play the drums like a bad-ass, pound out rhythms you can only dream of? For 3 days only, we're making this possible for you with a visitor controlled mechanical drum machine that will fill one of the galleries at the Oakland Museum of California.

This is a fully interactive installation made from reclaimed, recycled and donated materials by sound artist, Tim Phillips and the 'CMT creates music' team... ready for you to customize.

March 8th
Friday NIGHT Jam Session - 5pm til 9pm
(Half price entry + guest musicians)

March 9th
